Hey! your latest post popped up in my RSS feed and I spent time catching up on your past posts. I teach middle school and I have big feels about the rise of streaming culture with kids! And I also did TAW and swear by it. I really enjoyed reading your guide to digital minimalism! I actually wanted to write a similar guide, but more focused on some specific technicalities and ublock origin magic. I'll probably be linking your guide as well when I'm done x) Reading about the downfall of online art communities was also interesting. I was pretty young when I discovered DeviantArt. Tumblr (ignoring the nutty community) was also great for fandom NSFW art. Nowadays I prefer Reddit and also, and this might be an unusual choice but, Steam, for posting gaming fan art. But I digress. Point is, yeah, we really didn't realize how good we used to have it back then hahah...

Really loved reading your various essays on art and internet history; you bring a lot of humanity in what's usually otherwise a very bleak dirge about what's lost to the past.
